[NEWS] Lamborghini Adds Extra 'Sport' To The Aventador
Honestly, the Aventador is ageing a bit and could use a bit of an update to make it interesting and relevant once again, and Lamborghini has given us just that. Everyone, please give a warm welcome to the Lamborghini Aventador S.
Yes, the 'S' does have quite some differences, the 6.5L V12 has a 40 horsepower hike and is now producing 740 horsepower and redlines at 8,500rpm which is 150rpm higher than it used to be.
But the big news is that the Aventador S will not only have an all-wheel drive system, it will have a four-wheel steering system as well much like a Porsche 911 GT3 RS, or a Porsche 918, or a Honda Prelude. Anyway, it's also capable of sending up to 90% of it's power to the rear wheels, meaning it should be able to do some tail-out action.
The weight of the car remains the same, but you would notice it has a different look to it, the new aeroworks means 130% more downforce at the front and 50% more at the rear. Lovely
Expect the Aventador S to have a bit of a hike in the price, but then it does seem to look way more menacing than the old car, interested?
