  • [NEWS] The Ultimate Track Toy: Ferrari FXX K Evoluzione

When Ferrari made the 599XX, they gave owners the option of fitting their already ridiculously expensive 599XX with a rear-spoiler that had a DRS system just like the ones in an F1 car, so it was only a matter of time until we see an even more bonkers version of the FXX K with an utterly monstrous aero work. And here it is, the FXX K Evo:

After a whole year of simulations and wind tunnel testing, Ferrari has altered the aero of the FXX K, with the most obvious changes being at the rear; the tailfins are replaced by a fixed rear-wing which have been designed to work with the active spoiler.

Another major change is the new shark fin which goes all the way back to the rear spoiler, to create better air flow and increase 10% downforce.

The front-end is also different, it has new intakes, vertical turning vanes and gurney flaps to work seamlessly with the rear aero. There are also new front brakes intakes as well as a recalibrated suspension.

There are few changes apart from the aero works, the engine specs remains the same, but there's a new F1-style steering wheel with paddle shifts incorporated into the steering wheel. The FXX K is an "extremely limited-run model", or an upgrade package for existing FXX Ks.
